Campaign Hits 7 Counties Since Tour Was Announced Last Week

Taylorville, IL – Rodney Davis, Republican Candidate for Congress in Illinois’ 13th District, will meet with voters today in Christian, Sangamon, and Macon Counties – Rodney has visited seven counties since the tour was announced a week ago.

Rodney plans to meet with voters in the cities of Pana, Rochester, Mt. Zion and Decatur to discuss the challenges facing their businesses, families, and communities.

He previously visited Bloomington in McLean County, Clinton in DeWitt County, Hillsboro in Montgomery County, Carlinville in Macoupin County, and Godfrey in Madison County. Additional stops will be announced in the following days, and updates and pictures from the campaign trail will be posted at ElectRodney.com.

“Growing up in Central Illinois, I watched my dad build a small business from the ground up,” Davis said. “At a young age I learned the value of working hard and living within your means. I want to take these common sense values to Washington and restore the American principles which made our nation great.”

Rodney Davis has spent nearly all of his life in the 13th District. He graduated with honors from Millikin University in Decatur and married his high school sweetheart, Shannon. Throughout his career, Rodney has worked to help small businesses navigate government bureaucracy and cut through red tape.

“I’ve been traveling and meeting with residents throughout the 13th District, and they are encouraged to see a regular person like me planning to bring some common sense to Washington and fight for them,” said Davis.
